"I am a huge fan of Amie's, and was shocked to learn of her sudden and untimely death. I purchased Amie's [first] CD back in 1994, and listened to it often. She had came to our area on her JCPenney tour, I guess that was the name of her promotional tour, and I was unable to make it. I wish I could've went now. Plus I just knew she would get more popular and would come back and be an opening act for one of the many stars that come through our area...and I would get to see her then, but unfortunately, God called for her to bring her angelic voice to Heaven, to entertain Him and the rest of the angels that have went before us. I know that she is in Heaven, to spread her beauty and talent, she has received her Angel Wings, and she will be forever in our Hearts, and her spirit and music will live on. God Bless You Amie, rest in peace!"

"I just wanted to write a letter to give my condolences and say please do not give up on trying to give her the credit she deserves for her new CD. If there is anything I can do to help promote Amie's new CD, please let me know. I am 20-years-old. About 3 years ago [1995], I bought Amie's first CD and I love it. I loaned it to a friend about a year ago, and she lost it. I have been in stores looking for it, but no one had it, and at that time I did not know about her new CD. Tonight, me and my mom were watching television, someone came on that looked like her. We started talking about Amie wondering why we haven't heard anything about her. After listening to her first CD, we said, 'She's gonna make it, BIG time!' I thought to look her up on the computer to see if maybe I can order her CD I lost, and that is when, just about an hour ago, I read the tragic news. Here I am wondering what she's been doing, why, with a voice like hers, she isn't making more CDs, and when I read it tonight, I cried like I knew her for years. A country radio station is doing a promotion where my mother works, and her work also advertises on this station, so you can be sure Amie will be mentioned! If there is anything else, please let me know. If we don't stand up for Amie and her talent, who will?
Sincerely,
Danielle

"My name is Doyal Aarron Meadows. I come from the city of Van Buren in the great state of Arkansas. I'm 20-years-old and I've been a very big fan of Amie Comeaux's for the past 6 years. Even though she's gone, I miss her a lot. I was a very big fan of hers since the day I heard 'Who's She to You.' I heard it in 1994, the year that song came out. And then the following year in '95, I bought her album 'Moving Out.' It was one of my personal favorites. I loved every track on it! I also wrote to her fan club, and although I did not join, I did get a picture of Amie back when her fan club responded. I still have the picture as a matter of fact. So all I have to say is, Amie was a wonderful person and she'll surely be missed."
Sincerely, Doyal Meadows

"My sister and me have been wanting to tell ya'll how sorry we was about Amie's death. I was friends with some of the family, the Lebluves and Olano's, and it was all hard on them. I saw many pictures of Amie and watched videos of her performing. She sang so good. I tried for a long time when I lived in Zachary to get some of Baton Rouge's country stations to play her music, but most of them said their boss would not let them or they did not have her CD. I have her CD and I listen to it all the time and get my friends to listen to it also. They all think she sang so great. I feel so deeply sorry for what happened so long ago. I know this is kinda late, but we just recently got the Internet and I was looking up stuff on her and found this web page. I hope you will continue to help get her known nationally. I hope everything works out for you and all of her family and fans."

"Hello. I was a friend of Amie's. She was the most caring person you could ever meet. I had seen her about 5 years ago [in 1995] at the free listener appreciation concert in Livingston, Louisiana and I was blown away by her voice. Then I saw her one night in Wal-Mart and I got to meet her. She was so nice to me. I got her phone number and we used to talk on the phone. She was not arrogant at all! She met me and one of my friends for lunch one day and I have to say that she is the most down-to-earth person you'll ever meet. She would send me photos of her in the mail. My whole family was a fan of hers. I was in Colorado when I found out about her accident. My mom wasn't going to tell me until we got home because she knew it would ruin my trip...and she was right. My grandmother and aunt went to her funeral because I was unable to attend. She brought me some flowers back from the funeral -- red and white ones because they were Amie's favorite. I just wanna thank you for making a memory page for Amie. I have printed all of the stuff you have on her and put some stuff of my own and made a memory book of her."

"I'm a Norwegian girl who loves Amie's music. It's a big shame but I never ever heard about Amie until my sister
Ase told me about her. She is crazy about Amie... She also has Amie's two CDs; I only have the memory recording
'A Very Special Angel.' Amie had a great voice and I think it's very sad what
happened to her. I wish there was a fan club for Amie's fans from all over the world."

"I've enjoyed browsing your pages for the last 6 months or so [1998], especially the Amie Comeaux page. Like you, I was quite upset to hear of Amie's death. I was not all that familiar with her work, however, other than "One Step Ahead of You" which I had managed to catch on tape one time."

"We were surfing through and landed upon Amie's
page here. Her story is so heart-warming and I truly hope we hear her songs
played on the radio. Obviously she was a great, talented girl. Our heart goes
out to her family and all who loved her. She was beautiful, too. I know you are
busy and may not answer right off but what you have done is very thoughtful."
Sincerely, Barb
"Just a quick note to say that I was a big fan of Amie and her music. I was
a member of her fan club and I was sent several signed items. I live in England. I am really pleased to hear that a new album of her songs has been released. You have a great web site, keep up the good work!"Best wishes,
Ben Good"And while it has taken me a long time to write this, partially because I still miss Amie greatly...although I never met her...I feel like I've known her for a long time. I sent her quite a few fan letters, and she did answer a few of them when she had the time. Whatever you do, please keep the site going, we need to keep her memory alive. I only wish she had gotten the recognition she deserved so much. Both of her CDs are still being played in my stereo. I cried when I heard 'A Very Special Angel' -- it seemed to fit everything I had heard about her. She was definitely taken too soon. Anyhow, just wanted to thank you for putting the page together on Amie, once again please keep it going..."
Love always, an Amie Fan... Steve Woods
