In Memory
of a Young, Talented Artist

Amie Comeaux

** Special thanks to Larry Sanchez for taking this photo of Amie's grave. **

A memorial cross and wreath (shown left) was placed beside the tree that Amie's car struck when she was killed in December 1997 in St. Tammany Parish, on I-12, west of Slidell, in southeastern Louisiana. I am not sure who placed the memorial items there, but they still remain at the spot even after this many years.

Thanks to Connie Vinot (a fan of Amie) for taking the time to drive to this area to take digital pictures of the memorial spot. May Amie's memory always live on....

In early 2004, someone made a new cross (shown left) to place on the roadside at the site of Amie's accident. This cross, along with some artificial flowers, is located in the same area as the one in the older pictures shown above.

Thanks to Tonya Dyson from Franklinton, La. for taking these two pictures. May God bless the person who took the time to do this for Amie and help keep her memory alive...
