As promised... here is the "Photo Collection" page featuring pictures of Amie through the years. The photos that you see here are just a start... I have more that I will hopefully be able to add soon. In the future, I plan to organize the pictures in a better format when I have more time, but I didn't want to wait any longer about posting them so this page layout will need to do for now. If anyone has pictures of Amie, please let me know and I will add them to this page! I'd love to see this grow into a vast photo collection that will help keep Amie's memory living on...

A LITTLE STAR: When Amie was 9 years old, she performed in a contest at Catfish Town in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1985. Needless to say, she won!

SPECIAL MEMORIES: There is a really nice story about these three photos...

In 1990, Ed Craig, a friend of Amie's family, and Don Allen, who was a world class photographer, were making a video of Amie and taking still shots for the final video. Don was shooting at a Louisiana Plantation Home and everything was like magic. (Unfortunately, the master video tape was lost many years ago.) Amie had ask Donnie if he would take a special photo of her when they finished the video. She was very specific; only he and her could be in the room and she would get the only copies of the photos. Amie was 14 years old at the time, but she always wanted to be older before her time. She wanted a Scarlet O’Hara, "Gone With The Wind" type photo taken.  She forbid her mother to be in the room, did her own makeup and hair for the "Special Photo Session."  She wanted it to be a black and white photo so it looked old. When Donnie died in 1998, his friend gave Ed a box of Donnie's photography books and some of his photos. "I found this photo in one of his books and felt like I had found something very special to Amie," said Ed. "I think it is a good time to share this photo with all of Amie’s fans, as I think she would have approved." The two color photos were taken during the video taping. Ed felt like the pictures showed the great contrast in the Amie image, and her dreams of who she wanted to be. SIGNATURES: Amie is shown signing posters and t-shirts for her many fans and fan club members. The pictures were taken around the time her debut album, "Moving Out," was released. Photos by Ed Craig.

Thanks to Don for these two images. The image above was actually signed by Amie.
