----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: This is an email I received on March 26, 1998 from the producer of Amie's second album. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To Amie's Fans - Release of new CD - Rival Records from Nashville Amie's album entitled "A VERY SPECIAL ANGEL" was released today, March 26th, 1998, by Rival Records. It has been a long uphill climb with each day seeming to present another obstacle, but we have finally overcome all of them and it is headed for the retail store's as I am writing this. Bourg's Drug Store in Amie's home town was the first to receive the new album. The first batch of 125 CD's which were sold out in less then 45 min. You will be able to buy it at Block Busters, Wal-Marts, Best Buys and Sound House all in Baton Rouge, LA. You can contact these stores and order or request the record at your local stores. The album has been sent to all the reporting country stations. If the station or stations in your area are not playing it, please call and request it. Amie really was a very special angel and working with her to realize her dream of getting another record deal over the last seven months before she died was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The songs you will hear on this album were really demos that were recorded as part of a song search for a project album that we could pitch to the record labels. After her tragic death, we were able, through the miracle of modern technology, to build additional music tracks around her vocals and come out with a finished product that we are very proud of. As I stated in the credit page of the album cover, due to the circumstances, the project album actually became the final product. I hope you will all enjoy this tribute to the incredible talent of this exceptional young star and with all your support, we will be able to keep her memory alive. A group of her colleagues have recorded the final cut on the album (#11) which tells the story of a very special angel. Thank you, Jim Beauhall Executive Producer ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
