Amie Comeaux's second CD titled "A Very Special Angel" was released by Rival Records in
1998 shortly after Amie
passed away. The album features songs that Amie recorded a few months before
her death.
Originally, plans were in the works to have the album
distributed to stores and country radio stations throughout the
country. However, a change in distribution plans by the record label caused only the stores in the
Louisiana (Amie's home state) area to stocked it. The CD was later
available for sale through Beaujo Records and Amazon.
Now all of the stock of the original copies of Amie's second album "A Very Special Angel" (shown right), which was released by Rival Records, has been depleted. The good news is that now Amie's best-selling CD has now been re-released by Beaujo Records. This re-release has been remixed and remastered with enhanced tracks and new background vocals. It also includes a new cover (shown left), booklet artwork, photos and all of the song lyrics (which were not in the original release). You may order it directly from BeaujoMusic.com or through Amazon.com (type Amie's name in the search field; note that sometimes other people may have used copies of the original version for sale at Amazon, so if you're wanting the new remastered version, be sure you don't order a used copy). |
